| Project work is incorporated in each class starting from LKG. This is an in-depth study of a topic, which is of significant interest to the children. It begins with questions the children have such as, “How do bakers decide what to sell?” or “Where does a bank keep all of the money?” Then the class does field work to learn more about the topic. This might include field trips, visits from professionals, using media, constructing play areas representing the topic, and interviews or surveys. There is often a culminating experience which might include sharing what has been learned with parents or other classes. |
