Success in 'A' levels will give access to the top universities around the world and in the Indian sub-continent. A Levels are one of the most recognised qualifications around the world. They are accepted as proof of academic ability for entry into universities, institutes of higher education.
The subject content of each of the new A Level syllabuses has been divided into two parts: the A1 syllabus content which is expected to be covered in the first half of the course, and A2 which is the second part of the syllabus. The students take A Level components at the end of the course of study - usually at the end of the second year.

| CAN A STUDENT APPEAR FOR PRE- MEDICAL TEST [PMT], IIT-JEE OR CET AFTER PASSING THE ‘A’ LEVEL EXAMS?
Yes, the A level examination is equivalent to the std XII examination. The students passing the A level examination can appear for any Indian competitive examinations.
TO WHOM DOES THIS QUALIFICATION HELP?
This qualification helps both the students who wish to study abroad or the students who wish to continue studying in India. The qualification is recognized by all the reputed Universities whether in India or Abroad.

The following fee schedule is applicable for the Academic Year 2009-10
Registration Fee
A non refundable Registration Fee is payable to Lexicon Junior College when obtaining the admission form from college or on submitting the admission form downloaded from site.
Admission Fee and Security Deposit
A non refundable Admission Fee and a refundable Security Deposit are payable at the time of accepting admission. The Admission Fee and Security Deposit are a ‘one off’ payment to be paid upon admission only. Annual Fees are payable in installments, failure to do so by the date stipulated will incur a ‘late payment’ surcharge.

Academic year has 2 terms. 40% of the school annual fee is payable at the time of admission and the remaining 60% of the annual fee is payable in 2 equal installments in October and January respectively. The students seeking admission in the middle of the term need to pay the full term fee i.e. 50% of the school annual fee at the time of the admission.

Rules & regulations
- In addition to the fees listed above, parents will be required to meet the expenses of school uniform, books, note books, school lunch, school transport, school publications, educational trips, excursions, class activity /co-curricular material charges, activity charges, fees for public / board examinations, and any other requirement in connection with their child’s education at Lexicon Junior College
- On accepting admission to Lexicon Junior College, 40% of the annual fee is to be paid at the time of admission. Subsequently, the remaining 60% of the annual fee is payable in 2 equal installments in Oct and Jan respectively.
- All fees are to be paid either by way of cash or a Demand Draft/cheque[local] drawn in favour of ‘Lexicon Junior College ’, payable at Pune
- An academic year has 2 terms. Term1 starts - 1st June & Term2 starts - 1st November
- The Security Deposit is collected against damage to, or loss of library books, laboratory equipment, computer facilities and other equipment or assets of the School. It will be refunded without interest, after adjustment of dues, if any, on completion of the child’s studies at / withdrawal from Lexicon Junior College
- 3 calendar months notice before the start of the new term to be given for withdrawal of the student. Failure to do so will result in loss of security deposit. Payment of the next term fee will be mandatory
- The fees schedule given above is subject to change from time to time, at the discretion of the Lexicon Junior College management. The college will communicate any fee revision to parents
- If a student leaves the college before the end of a Term, fees will be payable for the full Term. Under no circumstances will the fees be refunded
- Lexicon Junior College has put in place regulations necessary for the effective functioning of the college. It reserves the right to amend the regulations wherever and whenever considered necessary and appropriate. Therefore, this publication and the descriptions contained herein are not to be construed as a contract binding the college to any specific policies.
